23 Mar CBA Reps Win in National Congress Quiz Bee

University of the Assumption Business Administration students proved their competence as they snatched top places during the “4 th A-Best National Congress” held in Baguio City, March 3-5, 2017.

The congress is an annual event hosted by the Alliance of Business Educators and Students of the Philippines (A-Best).

Tricia Lien Delos Reyes was the champion in the A-BEST Quiz Individual Category-Marketing, besting the participants from different universities and colleges nationwide.

Meanwhile in the A-BEST Quiz Group category, Team UA emerged as the second runner up with De La Salle-Lipa and De La Salle University-Dasmarinas, champion and first runner up respectively. Team UA was composed of Raezel Mae Mallari, Sherika de Jesus, Nicole Ann Loi Romero, and Tricia Lien delos Reyes.

College of Business Administration Dean Winefrida Torres was jubilant that BA students shone in the competition. She said, “we are very proud of our students for participating well and for their outstanding performances during the competition which led them to outdo the other equally competent students in the congress.”

A-BEST is an association of professors, teachers and students in all fields of businesswhich aims “to maintain a sustainable allied professional association of educators and students in the Philippines that consistently cultivates and promotes quality and ethical business education”.
